Watch  her awesome video testimonial here! Three years ago my grandkids and I were playing at the park and they wanted me to slide down the slide after them. So I did, or tried. I was stuck in the slide and had to pull myself forward to get to the bottom. That was my wake up call to start doing something about my weight. I started an exercise regimen twice a week. It helped me to be more active but I didn’t lose weight. I started weight watchers and lost some but I quit the program and started to put weight back on, then my friend asked me to try the 8 week program at Eupraxia because of the buy 1 get 1 free special….I signed up kicking and screaming, I remember when I met Steve (he registered us) and I said to him, “I really don’t want to do this I have my own regimen and I will be quitting after 8 weeks!” Well a year and a half later I’m still a member and I love it!

The exercise is great and I feel better and stronger but the biggest change that happened to me was when I started listening to what Steve was saying at his nutrition class. I didn’t listen right away, it took me about a year before I could really grasp what Steve was talking about, but once I did I realized that it was pretty easy to do. The first thing I had to do was change what food I was eating. I got rid of the soda, juice, dairy, sugar, breads, and pasta and brought in more vegetables. I’ll be honest I needed a little push by Steve. I couldn’t believe how easy it was once I set my mind to it.

I now eat vegetables with every meal with my choice of meat. I eat until I’m satisfied and not full, I don’t count calories, or think about portion size. I eat only when hungry, and if I’m not hungry I wait until I am. Doing these changes have made my weight loss journey easier than what I was doing before. I use to count calories, count points, and measure out my food but not anymore. For me weight loss is really about making the right food choices and then the weight really does come off! Exercise alone didn’t help me lose weight I had to change my eating habits too. I’ve loss 75lbs so far and my journey is still continuing and I can’t wait until I get to my final weight loss goal!

Exercise and eating healthy are now part of my life (sometimes I get off track, but I get right back in the saddle again). Thanks to Steve and his support I know what food is the right food and that spices are my friends. It really is true that eating good food isn’t that hard and the benefits that come with it are awesome.

What keeps you motivated? What keeps me motivated is how healthy and strong I feel. I can do things now I couldn't before or was afraid to do.  Like hiking and kayaking.  I feel like now I have direction for a healthy long life.Do you ever have periods where your motivation is low and miss a few workouts? I have had days where I have low motivation and have missed a workout or two but at the next class I feel great and wonder why I would not go.  That keeps me coming back.Did you take any Adcovare, Plexus, Isagenix or any other multi-level marketing products? NoWhat supplements if any do you take? I do take fish oil, vitamin D, a probiotic and dynamic greens. What’s a typical workout schedule in a week for you? I exercise at Eupraxia 5 days a week walk at night and do fun outdoor activities on weekend.  Biking, hiking volleyball....Can you describe what you eat on a typical day? Breakfast 2 eggs with asparagus and an apple. Snack almonds or carrots. Lunch spinach salad with egg or chicken Supper usually chicken or steak with broccoli or sweet potato, and lots of water daily...Any advice for people looking to improve their health? My advice to others would be dig deep and really get down to why you want to be healthy, use that motivation and find ways to remind yourself daily of why you started and where you want to go..What is favorite healthy meal? My favorite healthy meal is eggs with asparagusWhat is your favorite cheat food? My favorite cheat is organic dark chocolate covered almonds!

A good friend of mine recently made a comment to me saying, “Don’t you wish you could take a magic pill at night and wake up 50 lbs lighter? That would make things so much easier.” Man, isn’t that the truth. But, the truth is, there is no magic pill. It all comes down to hard work. This month marks 3 years for me at Eupraxia. In Feb. 2012 I had just had my 4th baby. I was totally fed up with how I looked and felt. I had always been an athletic person, never the “skinny girl” but athletic, all through high school and even after. But, having kids and bad eating habits, the weight just kept going up. After each baby I would get down to a certain weight and I would be content with it. Not happy, but content. I was reading the paper one Sunday and saw the ad to try an 8 week session at Eupraxia for a low rate and they would teach you better eating habits and each day was a different workout. It sounded pretty good and the price was right. What could it hurt? Now, here we are 3 years later. It was shortly after that 8 week session that I became pregnant with my 5th baby . Wasn’t quite sure how that was going to be working out and being pregnant, but I kept at it. The trainers were able to help me alter certain moves so I was able to do them with an ever growing belly. So, safe to say I didn’t exactly lose weight my first year at Eupraxia. But, I was exercising and slowly changing my eating habits. After having my baby, I couldn’t wait to come back and start exercising and get myself into better shape.Like I said, it has been 3 years now that I have been working out at Eupraxia. And I wasn’t fully dedicated to working out and eating healthy right away. I really couldn’t tell you when I started seeing real results, because the time has just flown by. I can tell you that it is when I really changed my diet, eating more fresh veggies and fruit, lean protein and getting rid of the junk food. I have to admit, I love my breads, baked goods and ice cream. Those are still my biggest weaknesses. I haven’t given them up totally, but I am much more aware now of what I eat. So, I can say that it is the great combination of working out regularly and eating right is when I started seeing results.Lindsay recently sent me my “before” photos that were taken on the first day during the orientation. I had never seen those photos. I still have mixed emotions when I see them. But, then I realize, yes, I have lost about 50 lbs since starting and yes, I am down 3 pant sizes and yes, I have quite a bit more muscle than when I started. I never would have thought I could have accomplished all of that. I know I couldn’t have without the help of the trainers and the amazing friends (you know who you are) that I have gained while at Eupraxia. They have helped push me to do better and tested me to see what I can accomplish. This journey has been scary, painful, rewarding and most of all, life altering. I love knowing that I am a healthier, happier person for my kids and husband. Surprisingly, they aren’t sick of hearing about the crazy workout I had or how sore I am, at least they haven’t let on that they are. Either way, they’re going to keep hearing about it, because there is always something to improve on, and I’m not done yet.
  • JENNA

My name is Jenna Kowalke. I have been a member at Eupraxia off and on for about 3 years now. Since day 1, I fell in love with how Eupraxia works; for its members to have a healthier and happier life. The nutrition plan is there for you, the gym work outs are set up for you, all you need is the right mind set and motivation and it is guaranteed success! However, with that being said, I did not have that success in my first 2 years training at Eupraxia. My first two years with Eupraxia, I was only able to train during my summers off from college.  I would come home from college all motivated to lose weight, after packing on all of the weight from....you know....the college life ;) I would cut down my portion sizes and work out every day. I saw some results, but the day I went back to college in the fall, my results quickly faded away. Away from Eupraxia I tried everything...I spent a shameful amount of money on Adovocare, Isagenix...you name it, I tried it. Those products made me hungrier, and did not give me the energy I needed to make it through the day without snacking. They were a short-term fix, but in the end, they were not the life style change that I needed......When I first started at Eupraxia, I just followed their workout routine and did not follow their recommendations for eating. It was not until I started eating clean that I really started seeing results. It has been a year now of clean eating and a consistent workout routine, and I have lost over 30 pounds in fat and have gained a lot of muscle along the way.  I cannot express how happy I am and how comfortable I feel in my skin now. Eupraxia has changed my life. I have never met such amazing people that are truly there to help you reach your goals and become a happier and healthier person. Eupraxia has become my second home. I love all of my trainers, I love all of the members, and I am proud to say that I have started teaching classes myself! Thank you Eupraxia for everything that you do. Everyone can do it, and Eupraxia is there to take you to the finish line. All I want now is for everyone to be able to see the success that I did, feel the way I do, and be able to say, "I DID IT! I LOVE MYSELF".Read her full story HERE

My whole life I had battled with weight, I have never been terribly over weight but always too heavy for my height. Over the years, since high school age, I have tried different fitness programs from memberships at the Y, 24 hour fitness centers and self programs such as walking or riding bicycles; with all I had varying degrees of success. The same with weight loss. I’ve tried all sorts of diets and all diets had a problem, one day they ended and pretty soon I was back to my old habits. 4 or 5 years ago I had tried to change my eating habit’s on my own and walk daily, with this I had fair results inside of a year I had went from 245# down to 195# and that seemed good. The problem was I had loss muscle mass also not just fat and I was looking gaunt as well as lighter and wasn’t really in that good of shape. Then to make matters worse I had slacked off some and in the course of the next few months slowly gained some weight and was now back to over 220# on top of having lost the muscle mass.

I knew I needed something and I felt it really needed to be a lifestyle change, something I could live with everyday. I had noticed Eupraxia’s ad in the La Crosse Tribune and also noticed some of the testimonials were from people I knew. With this, and a New Year upon me, I decided to sign up for an 8 week session in January of 2014. It was only a ½ hour commitment each day and they would help me with my diet so what could it hurt. Well that first week and many weeks after that I did hurt, but in a good way I was building back muscle and in the meantime, with their help, learning how to eat better...(Read Full Story HERE)

Watch her YouTube video HEREI was fortunate enough to grow up in a home with parents who were athletic and health conscious. Mom home-cooked our meals, both were avid runners and my sisters and I were pretty much forced into school sports. Lack of hand-eye coordination left me with limited options so I became a distance runner. I wish I could say that these habits carried over into my adult life, but when I hit college, I swore off running and began indulging in all of the foods my parents had outlawed. Hamburger Helper and Fruit Loops were all I knew how to cook, and I was lucky if the bag of frozen peas served on the side wasn’t slightly burned. After I graduated college, the weight gain went from a slow crawl to a drag race. I foolishly blamed the love handles and double digit pant sizes on bad genetics and the “fact” that, at 23 years old, my metabolism had just had enough. Under this mentality, I carried around 30-40 lbs of extra body weight for years......Fast forwarding to the summer of 2012, one of my deepest wounds was re-opened. My mom was diagnosed with anal cancer. She is someone who has been health conscious for as long as I can remember, always trying to take care of herself. The same question popped into my head; “how does someone who seems so healthy, get so sick?” It has taken many years, several books, hours of online research, and my involvement with Eupraxia, but I believe I have found the answer to that question. I have chosen to challenge conventional wisdom and lead my life in a way that will optimize my genetics. I have chosen Eupraxia and the Innate Diet.(Read complete story HERE)

Our names our David and Diane Weber and we have been members of Eupraxia for six months. Before joining Eupraxia, we were trying to eat healthy and work out on our own but it became so easy to give up when we were not seeing the results we had hoped for. After hearing about the positive results our friends had achieved through Eupraxia, we decided to join and try an eight-week session. This was our first attempt at working out in a group setting, and we had no idea what to expect. We were pleased to find out that it is not at all intimidating and it is very easy to stay motivated through the help and knowledge of the trainers. After the first eight-week session, we signed up for a 1- year membership and we are so happy we stuck with it because we are finally seeing positive changes physically and mentally. The workouts are different everyday and they always leave us feeling more energized and motivated throughout the day. We used to dread working out, but after joining Eupraxia we look forward to beginning our day with a workout. We typically go six times a week and we absolutely love it. Hearing comments from friends and family about our physical results has become another motivating factor. The trainers at Eupraxia understand that everyone is at a different fitness level and they always push you to do your best to meet your goals. After attending Steve’s nutritional seminar and talking with Brady and Katie, we made a huge change to our eating habits. A typical day of meals now would include fruits and vegetables, eggs, salads, and chicken or venison. It has become so easy to plan healthy meals with the help and information Eupraxia provides us with. Our one cheat food is pizza, which we have on occasion.Joining together helps us stay motivated and allows us to push each other to achieve our fitness and nutritional goals. We are very pleased with our results and we are thankful for the help and encouragement of the Eupraxia family. We would definitely recommend Eupraxia to anyone wanting to make a healthy lifestyle change both physically and mentally.

I joined Eupraxia six months ago, and it has been an absolute life change for me! I can't believe how far I've come in the six months and how strong I've gotten!  I have always been pretty mindful about trying to eat healthy, but the working out aspect was definitely lacking for me.  I've tried typical gyms in the past, but was intimidated, lacked motivation, and ultimately wasn't sure of what I was even doing.  Not surprisingly, I never had much success.
Recently, my sister got married in Mexico, and seeing the pictures of myself on the beach made me cringe, and I knew I had to change!
My friend had been going to Eupraxia for a while at the time, and after seeing how amazing and strong she had become, there was no question in my mind that this is what I had to do!  I signed up for the 8 weeks, and I remember my first workout at Eupraxia, it was awful!  I wanted to throw up, faint, and die!  The whole first week was awful actually!  I can not even put into words as to how sore I was!! I am SO happy I stuck it out though because it was all 100% worth it!  The work outs are still hard as heck, don't get me wrong, but definitely a good kind of hurt these days! :) Seeing my body change, get stronger, and be able to do exercises that I couldn't do in weeks past have been my motivation for coming back every single day.  I love the group work out setting at Eupraxia, it's really not intimidating, and I love all the different exercises and how everyday is something different.  The trainers are amazing! Amber, Steve, Lindsay, Kevin, Peter, and Ray to name a few, are so motivating, knowledgable, and always push you to do your best.  Steve's nutritional seminars are great too! He breaks nutrition down into a way that I had never thought of before, and it just clicked for me.  It is definitely a life style change, but a change I am so happy I made!
I would recommend Eupraxia to anyone wanting to get in better shape and just better overall health!  It's amazing to see the results of proper nutrition and hard work!
  • LISA

After I had my second child, I was at the highest weight I'd ever been and, while I loved being a mom to my wonderful boys, I had never been unhappier with myself or the way that I looked. I knew I needed to do something not only for myself, but also for my family. I really wanted to be the healthiest I could be for them. I had tried working out so many times in my life and had always dreaded it. I was constantly telling myself, “I will start a new diet tomorrow”, or the famous “I’ll start working out Monday”. I would do ok for a few weeks, and then slowly go back to my old ways and eventually just give up. I remember exploring different gyms online, planning my next attempt, and saw that the La Crosses fitness festival was starting. I started reading about it and read that Eupraxia was letting people trial their program for free for a week. I thought “what do I have to lose?”I am thankful every day that I made that decision. I will never forget my first week at Eupraxia. I honestly didn’t think that I was going to make it. I think they may have invented the saying, “If it were easy, everyone would do it.” I never want to be as sore as I was that first week again in my life! It made me realize just how out of shape I really was. Looking back it would have been so easy to give up, thankfully I didn’t. With help and motivation from the trainers and the other members I pushed through and now have been training at Eupraxia for just over a year. Every day it challenges me. And every day I look forward to going. It truly is for anyone. It doesn’t matter where you are on your fitness journey each workout is tailored for your own pace and difficulty. One of the things that I like the most is that every single workout is trainer-led, and the trainers do the same exact workouts that the members do. They are there to help you, and to push you.To me it is not even about my weight anymore. Yes I LOVE being able to say that I have lost over 50lbs, and have went from a size 18 pants to a size 10, but it is now about being healthier and getting stronger. I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be and can’t wait to reach more of my goals with Eupraxia.
  • BRITTANY

Prior to joining Eupraxia, I was extremely unhappy with my body and lacked confidence. I was a mother to 3 boys and after 3 C-sections; I struggled with feeling good about small losses. A friend of mine had joined Eupraxia in August of 2013 and loved it. I knew that I needed to give this a try, because the standard type of gym was not enjoyable and I needed someone to push me. I joined in October of 2013 and that day will always be remembered because it was the day I decided to change my life for me and my family. It was time to give me the attention I needed, because as a parent we tend to do everything for everyone else and not ourselves. When I joined, my first week will be engrained in my mind as I never want to ever be that sore again! Even though I was extremely sore, I knew it was what I needed. The people at Eupraxia are amazing! I consider this to be my family away from home; we support each other, push each other, and give each other tips. Over my journey, I have had many ups and downs. The biggest thing I needed to do was commit to making eating right and exercise a priority. I have found that I can do something for two months and tend to fall back into old habits. It took some time, but once I fully committed, it was amazing to see the changes I was able to make! I never imagined I would be in the gym 6 days a week, but when you find that you love what you are doing, it is not hard to get yourself there. My journey is not complete; I continue to work towards my goals. I am down 56lbs, numerous inches, and went from a size 18 to a size 7. I am wearing sizes I could wear in high school. Weight is just a number; I still weigh more than my high school years by 40lbs but am wearing the same sizes because of the muscle gain and fat loss. My goals are no longer about just the number of pounds I can lose, but about losing fat and inches, the way I feel and clothes feel and gaining muscle definition.Give Eupraxia a try; what do you have to lose other than the unwanted weight and inches. In the end you gain so much more, you will gain new muscles, a new view of your body, a new perspective on life, and many great friends.

When I had [my son] Liam in 2012, I had gained 70 pounds during my pregnancy! I went from a 125 to 198 the day I went into the hospital to give birth. I wasn’t worried though because everyone told me, “This is your first child, you are young, you can eat whatever you want and the weight will just ‘fall off’.” Well let’s just say a year after getting up at 4 in the morning, to workout for 2 hours to DVDs ,without really feeling any accomplishment; plus strictly counting calories, I STARTED to lose the weight that I had gained. Then Jude happened! I was at 145 and feeling a bit accomplished the day I found out I was pregnant. Again I gained 50 pounds with him. Then after I had my beautiful boy on August 19th, 2013, I decided I wasn’t going to go the same route of trying to lose weight with him. Thank God my daycare was located next to a place called Eupraxia. I had seen people come in and out all sweaty and I decided to look into it. I remember walking in with Jude and seeing Lindsay sitting at the counter. I decided to ask her what it was all about and she decided to show me! She had me test right then and there. I was hooked! I signed up and my husband and I decided to go to the eating seminar that night. We decided to make the lifestyle change and we have been implementing it ever since. Yes, it’s very hard to adjust our whole diet but we are working very hard at it. Here I am, month 8 after Jude (where I was just starting to show results with Liam) and I’m almost down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Not only that, I’ve made friends, feel great about myself, and can feel good that I’m incorporating my healthy lifestyles into my family’s lives. I also plan on incorporating these healthy foods to the children at the daycare I own, when we get the new kitchen space. Thanks Eupraxia, you truly have changed my life!!!
  • SARAH

As long as I can remember my mom told me that I needed to do a better job about watching what I was putting in my mouth. Not only what I ate, but how much of it as well. “Be careful, Sarah” she said. “I used to be your size too until I started having children and got older and it wasn’t so easy to stay skinny like I was.” She told me that she used to look at her mom, who was overweight and vow that would never happen to her. And I used to think the same thing. “Pffft, That won’t happen to me! I am athletic and active and in great shape! I have nothing to worry about” I told myself. I was the girl who played volleyball in the spring, basketball in the fall and ran track in the spring. Summertime was meant for swimming and biking and just running around with friends. I don’t know if I was ever at my ‘ideal body weight’, at least in my adult years, because I always had such an athletic build to me. But my body fat percentage was always at a great number. Even just a few months after my first son was born I was back down to 19% body fat; although I was only 21 years old when I had him.

    That is when life changed...

Over the last several years I have started and stopped numerous fitness programs, clubs and diets with varying success and failure.  My weight numbers yo-yoed up and down.  Worse yet, my blood work never really changed and trended for the worst in that time frame.  When I look at testimonials already written on this and other fitness pages, it's not hard to identify an abundance of underlying factors that motivate and keep individuals motivated.  For me it was a picture of my self and not recognizing the person I was staring at.  I didn't feel that bad, how could I look so bad?  This coupled with the fact that my family has a history of heart disease at a young age and this was cause for concern.  My father had open-heart surgery at the age of 45 and I am getting closer to that age every day.  My grandfather suffered a heart attack and passed at an early age.  I looked at that one picture and instantly felt my own mortality. My doctor had prescribed all the normal health care things. They classified me as obese and pre diabetic, prescribed the standard meds, encouraged me to change my eating habits and exercise, etc.  The only person that could really make a difference stared back at me in the mirror every morning.I floundered trying to find the right answers.  All that changed when our friends started their first week of Eupraxia.  Even after learning what a burpee was and witnessing numerous wall sit demonstrations, my wife, Theresa, and I felt like this was something we had to check out.   What could it hurt? What we found after joining Eupraxia was more than we ever expected.   The Eupraxia staff take a genuine interest in your personal success.  The workouts are challenging and easily modified to meet any fitness level.  The members are a great group of people and fun to be around.  From a personal perspective I started this journey with a lot of room for improvement.  Nine months later I am making progress on changing my body composition. No longer do I need to buy new clothes because they "shrunk in the dryer".    I have lost weight.  What is even better I have lost fat and gained muscle.  I no longer take blood sugar medication and all my blood cholesterol numbers are trending for the better.  Much better.Joining Eupraxia was a life changing moment.  Thank you for all that you and the staff do day in and day out.

The tipping point in my life came when I found that at the end of a day of work I had no energy. When it was my wife and I, it wasn’t as noticeable. When we had kids I began to see a gap between what I could do and what I wanted to do. I have always wanted to be the kind of dad my dad was. I wanted to be able to run and play with my kids. I wanted to be able to help them develop and grow ALONG SIDE them, not just watching from the sidelines. I also knew that this wasn’t something I could do on my own. I knew I needed someone or something that could provide accountability and also challenge me. That’s when I called Lindsay and Eupraxia!Beginning in January I joined and with the help of the Eupraxia community I have met and exceeded goals I wasn’t sure I believed I could achieve. It took a long time. It was hard work. And because it was hard, it was worth it. Dr. Steve isn’t about gimmicks. Dr. Steve has developed a philosophy about eating that changed the way I live. I know many people who have complimented my on some of the changes and when they asked me how I did it they were surprised. I always respond with Diet THEN Exercise as being the key. Changing my diet has given me exponentially more energy and the challenging work we do at Eupraxia continually rewards me with gains and progress beyond what I thought I could do. I had thought that my time of being in great shape was way over; but the truth is that I just completed a Tough Mudder and feel like I am in the best shape of my life. When I began my Eupraxia journey I thought the goal was weight loss. Now I realize that what I really wanted all along was a new lifestyle. Lindsay and Dr. Steve and everyone I work out with have become a new “direction” in my journey and have helped to enable and direct towards a revitalized life. I have essentially received a new life and couldn’t be happier about it. I still have goals. I will continue to trim fat and build muscle, but instead of doing it because I “need” to or because others with like me better, I am doing it because I want more out of life. Thank You Eupraxia for showing me how to live life more fully! Read Full Story HERE
  • DANIELLE

Here's where Eupraxia changed everything for me. I received proper education on what it meant to actually eat real food. I already knew how bad soda was for me and had given it up years ago. I also knew refined sugar was the weight-loss devil. What I didn't know was exactly how wheat, sugar and dairy were contributing to me not seeing results in the mirror, and more importantly, what they were doing to me on the inside. Along with this new education, I was also advised to stay off the scale. "Are you serious?", was my first thought. I decided that if I was going to go all in, then I would really need to follow all instructions, not just the ones that I was comfortable with. What would be the point in that, right? Over the course of the first 8 weeks, I was exposed to workouts like none I had experienced before. I had dabbled in group fitness classes at other gyms and never liked any of them. These, were different. They were awesome! They were intense and really pushed me to my limits. After the first week, I was hooked. I left every workout feeling so accomplished. I had done things that I had never done before and I felt strong. The best part about Eurpraxia, is that no matter how long you work out there, you will never loose the ability to accomplish new things. The workouts are always changing, and the trainers are always pushing and encouraging you to achieve your best. I tell people all of the time that I would never workout on my own as hard as I do when I'm at Eupraxia. Since I started, I have never felt better. After my initial 8 weeks, I re-tested and was surprised that I had only lost 2 lbs. I say that I was surprised, because judging by the way I felt and the way my clothes fit, I was certain I had lost way more. What really happened was that I had begun to completely change my body. I had gained muscle, and lost inches. I was feeling good about the way I felt and looked. That is a better feeling than any number on the scale will ever give me. I still like to go for long runs, but now it's for the pure relaxation and therapeutic benefits. Not to simply burn off lunch. It doesn't matter what your age or your current physical abilities, Eupraxia can and will work for you!Read Danielle's Full Story Here!

...Luckily, I saw that Eupraxia was having one of their sessions just as I would be cleared to lift after surgery. I thought, "this is it, the time is now" and I signed up. After the eight week session I just didn't want to stop coming. I make it part of my routine and its one of my priorities in keeping my health well. I still struggle with IBS from time to time, but I know when I eat as Eupraxia teaches I do much better - its just a choice when it all boils down to it! Its not been easy by any means, but what I've learned along the way is that I love the challenge - and I never disappoint myself. I get through each work out which leaves me feeling proud and accomplished and I think my results reflect that too. My results have been great. Family members who haven't seen me in a while have commented on how great I look and people are curious about what I've been doing. I'm getting stronger, I don't have as many stomachaches, I feel great, and I look forward to the workouts every day. I tell everyone I know about Eupraxia and how its changed my life. Seriously - the best investment in my health I've ever done! Thanks Eupraxia!Read Ashley's Full Story Here!

Watch her YouTube video HEREFirst off, can I just say to anyone thinking about joining Eupraxia... DO IT! You'll fall in love with the program and the results. Not the first day, but eventually you will! On my first day at Eupraxia, I literally walked into the changing room half way through the workout and tried talking myself out of doing it. I told myself I'd finish out the two weeks, but I was NOT signing on for a year! I went out and finished the workout, and I haven't looked back since. (Read Full Story Here)

During my late 40's I was experiencing 'age' related health issues. Seeking conventional professional medical advice, I was issued meds, I didn’t like it! After several years of living with what I describe as "sub optimal health" I did some research and self diagnoses, I came to the conclusion that I needed to 'exercise' more and eat healthier. I knew that I wouldn’t adopt an exercise regimen on my own, I needed help! I didn’t have a specific goal, I simply chose to commit 8 weeks to this class called Eupraxia. I would learn a workout routine that I could adopt and use the rest of my life. I learned about nutrition from Dr. Steve Czys, I read everything I could get my eyes on that pertained to this lifestyle and applied that to my daily life. I feel that this is much more than just a workout regimen and diet; it truly is a lifestyle change that empowers you to take control of your health. I was intrigued and committed. Sixteen weeks into Eupraxia, and the results have been tremendous....in all directions!  I've lost 16 pounds, yet gained 9 pounds of muscle to net a 25 pound loss of FAT!  Clothes fit better than in years.  Four inches lost around my waist.  My cholesterol level dropped 65 points and I am no longer pre-diabetic according to my doctor.  Pain in my arthritic knees has disappeared. But most telling is the increased energy, strength, stamina, and overall feeling of mobility.  At 47 years old, I feel better than I did in my mid 30's, and I have the great staff at Eupraxia to thank for the great improvements in my quality of life!  Watching my wife get fit with me has been a tremendous bonus, and we push each other at the gym and keep each other motivated to go to the gym. Our two oldest sons chose to join as well after seeing the results of our first 8 week program.  All in the family, I guess! Thanks Steve, Amber, Lindsay the Box Jump Queen, and the rest of the team at Eupraxia!

    In 16 weeks:

Lost 25 pounds of fat Gained 9 pounds of muscle Cholesterol down 309 to 241 Triglycerides from 301 to 87! The fat in his blood dropped by over 200 mg/dl.

    Our nutrition program works!

I recently celebrated my 21st birthday, and realized my weight was peaking in the prime of my life! I have never eaten well and have found working out to be absolute torture. Lifting weights in the gym was foreign and intimidating so I avoided it, and cardio was so tremendously hard for me having never been an athlete, even in high school, so I just let it go. A friend of mine mentioned the hybrid style workouts that allow me to really push myself in a way that is fun and varied at Eupraxia. The nutrition advice was absolutely paramount to my gains as well, and a pleasant bonus considering most gyms don't guide you. This combined with the loving, supportive, and team-focused community has made working out the absolute highlight of my day. The other members and trainers at Eupraxia sincerely feel like a second family, and I can't wait to see where I am in six months!

I enjoy the classes because they present a challenge, a community environment and in the end I feel a sense of accomplishment. The instructors hold you accountable and challenge you when you need an extra push. I realize that my body is capable of so much more than I ever thought possible. I have found Eupraxia works for me. After 9 months I have increased my body strength and muscle tone.(Click HERE for Betsy's video!)
  • STEPHANIE

I started my first session at Eupraxia in October 2012. After my first two-week trial period, I was sure about two things: #1 – It was the best program that I’d ever tried, and I had tried a LOT; and #2 – I knew that it would eventually help me reach my goals. So, I signed myself up for a whole year. There was just one thing I wasn’t so sure about. No grains? No legumes? No dairy? Say WHAT? Sure, after sitting through Dr. Steve’s nutrition seminar, it made sense. But when I got home and started throwing out all the “healthy” foods I’d been, I had my doubts. I needed more science......So, for Session #3 which started in March, I ditched it all – the bread, pasta, rice, sports drinks, creamer, and beer. I tossed the teriyaki and soy sauce I found hiding in my spice cabinet and the butter I found in the fridge. I even threw out my chocolate. And then I stocked up. More veggies. More meat. MORE EGGS. I made a meal plan. I made a standard shopping list. I made a commitment. For 30 whole days, I was going to follow a strictly “Paleo” nutrition plan.Easier said than done. The first two weeks were horrible. TERRIBLE. I was so nauseated and lethargic. And I was CRANKY. I barely had enough energy to work out. I had a moment where I almost quit – I thought, how could this type of nutrition be good for me if I felt so terrible?! But, with more research, I found out that I was actually detoxing and going through withdrawals. Yep, my body was so used to junk that it was responding the way a junkie would respond to quitting cold turkey. WITHDRAWALS!But instead of quitting, I pushed on and got over the hump. One day I woke up and felt normal. Hungry. Energetic. And not cranky! I kicked ass at kettlebells that night. And then I repeated the same success the next day. And the next! After all that, my body was finally able to use and perform with the fuel I was giving it. And when the 30-day Paleo period ended, I felt so good I just kept going. Then the outward signs started. Around the 4-week mark, my clothes were looser. People started saying, “what are you doing? You look great!” Pictures taken out with friends started looking better. Around the 6-week mark I HAD to buy new work pants. I couldn’t get my old ones to stay clasped. And for once, it wasn’t because my muffin top and ghetto booty were pushing the clasps to the limit. So finally, on Results Day #3, I got what I’d been working for. I’d lost a total of 8.9 pounds in fat and gained 6.2 pounds in muscle. I shed nearly 9 inches from my waist and hips! I did 19 push-ups and 16 burpees in one-minute trials (I started at ZERO and 6). But the two most important things – I felt stronger and healthier.I can honestly say that this level of success wouldn’t have been possible without my commitment to proper nutrition. I have the personal proof. I completed two sessions at Eupraxia with less-than-stellar results. For the third session, I kept the same workout routine but changed my nutrition to follow Dr. Steve’s recommendations, and I KICKED @$$.As they say, you truly are what you eat!Read Stephanie's complete journey HERE

Towards the end of 2011 I no longer recognized myself, either on the outside or inside, and I didn’t need to know what the scale said...the mirror and pictures from the previous couple years said everything.  I was fed up, so near the end of 2011 I started to become more aware of what I was eating and doing.  I decided that I’d finish off the holidays and really move towards getting healthier in 2012. Things started off pretty well. In the first couple months, I dropped a good amount of weight by watching what I was eating and getting on my indoor stationary trainer with my bike daily.  I had just turned 31 in January and then on February 22, 2012 I had a heart attack.  No one was able to give a reason for it and every Doctor I talked to was puzzled. Every person I saw, their first question was to ask about my family history.  I honestly thought it was strange how my grandparents, having multiple heart issues in their 60s and 70s, had anything to do with me having one at 31. I never ate horribly, at least no worse than anyone else I knew and I’d be the first to admit I was not in the best shape, but again, no worse than most others I knew.  I was told I’d probably have to be on several prescriptions, most likely the rest of my life.  It seemed I was being told to give up.  I may well have had I not come across Dr. Steve Czys and Eupraxia.

I changed the way I eat pretty dramatically, after really thinking about what I used to eat on a regular basis.  Steve gives a lot of good information and is able to back up everything that is taught with scientific facts.  Everything that is taught makes perfect sense, because there are no fads or gimmicks, just facts...I’ve had gym memberships in the past but I never got very far in anything I tried doing because I felt intimidated most of the time and only had a general idea of what I needed to do to get the results I was looking for.  More than anything, I needed guidance in my workouts.  At Eupraxia, the workouts are fun, different every day, challenging and most importantly, they work! The atmosphere is different than anywhere else I had been and everyone there from trainers to other members are positive and encouraging.  Having other people around doing the same thing really pushed me to do more and be better.  I’ve been able to push myself further physically than I ever would have on my own.  The diet admittedly was more difficult to adopt than the workouts, but the more I’ve changed to what I should be eating (and really should have been all along) I feel a lot better, I have more energy and genuinely enjoy the way I eat now.  I’m thrilled with the results and am really looking forward to the next year to see what I can accomplish.  I’ve set some new goals, one of which is to get off the prescriptions, and can’t wait to continue what I’ve started.

After getting out of the Army it was tough staying in shape by going to a traditional gym. No sense of team, no outside motivation, same workouts day after day. Eupraxia changed all that for my wife and I. But it wasn't just the workouts, it was the total lifestyle change, eating healthy, getting rest and working HARD at Eupraxia. Thank you Eupraxia. • DELORES

Eupraxia was a way for me to take charge of my health. I did not want to go on x-number of prescription drugs for high-cholesterol, osteoarthritis and diabetes etc.like my mother did before her death at age 86. Since joining in January, I have lost inches around my waist and hips, gotten my cholesterol, triglyceride and blood pressure numbers back to normal range, and improved bone density!

    Cholesterol: 265 down to 203

LDL (BAD) Cholesterol: 170 down to 121

    HDL (GOOD) Cholesterol: No Change

    Triglycerides: 193 down to 136

Blood sugar and blood pressure are great!

Delores rocked 35 pushups at 73 years old! The lifestyle works, you just need the discipline and motivation to DO IT!

  • DOUG

When I joined Eupraxia in January, I was eager to do something to my body, something I hadn’t done since college, WORKOUT.  I was easily overweight and unmotivated. For 20 years I was an object at rest, that tended to stay at rest. Even in the first 8 week session, I knew that this was going to be the ticket for me getting into a shape that wasn’t round and soft. The workouts are designed for you to make them as hard as you want. You are in a class with other people of all shapes and sizes, all aiming for the same result, A HEALTHIER BODY/LIFESTYLE. The instructors guide you and motivate you through the whole workout, they also stress the importance of diet/exercise combination. The results on my body are in a word “PHENOMENAL.” I have lost weight, inches, and gained strength and muscle. Besides my personal achievements, I enjoy the opportunity to work out with my wife, and recently my daughter has joined us for some workouts. I am now [over] 6 months into my transformation, and with the way I look and feel, I don’t plan on being “at rest”, until I am 90 or older. Thank you Eupraxia,  for a better me. (Click HERE for Doug's video!)

I cannot express how happy I am and how comfortable I feel in my skin now. Eupraxia has changed my life. I have never met such amazing people that are truly there to help you reach your goals and become a happier and healthier person.
testimonial
To me it is not even about my weight anymore. Yes I LOVE being able to say that I have lost over 50lbs, and have went from size 18 pants to a size 10, but it is now about being healthier and getting stronger. I still have a long way to go and can’t wait to reach more of my goals with Eupraxia.
testimonial
I sleep more soundly, my energy is consistent throughout the day, and I am currently not experiencing those ‘age related issues’ I had developed the past 3 years. At age 51 I feel fantastic, both mentally and physically, how do you put a price on that?
